To promote new technologies, develop new process materials, and train employees to improve the quality of industry staff. The update work of heat treatment process equipment is also quite heavy. While promoting the use of new vacuum heating equipment and protective atmosphere and controllable atmosphere heating equipment, it is equally important to carry out technological transformation of traditional and old heating equipment. Choosing practical and feasible solutions and technological transformation measures, and promoting them, can create considerable wealth for enterprises and the country.

The energy sources for heat treatment can generally be divided into two categories: electrical energy and fuel. The use of electricity or fuel, as well as the type of fuel used, depends on a combination of factors such as production costs, energy supply conditions, difficulty and reliability of operation and control, characteristics of heat treatment processes, and their impact on the ecological environment.
